A 4-member delegation of the English Cricket Board met with top security officials in Karachi

A 4-member delegation of the English Cricket Board met the top security officials in Karachi today, they were briefed about the security plan and other measures, the delegation also visited the National Stadium.

A four-member delegation spent a busy day in Karachi to review the arrangements ahead of the England cricket team’s tour of Pakistan this year.

The delegation first had a meeting with the top security officials where the Sindh government and security agencies briefed them on the security plan and also informed about the arrival and departure of the teams.

The 4-member delegation includes two members from ECB Cricket Operations and one representative each from Security and Players Association. The delegation also visited the National Stadium Karachi, inspected the practice area, media box and dressing room.

After Karachi, the British delegation will also visit Multan Cricket Stadium and Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

The England team will come to Pakistan in September to play 7 T20 matches this year, while the English team will also visit Pakistan for the Test series in December. The 4-member delegation will leave for Multan tonight.
