National team captain Babar Azam is determined to start the new season successfully in the series against West Indies.
Speaking to the media at the Umrah National High Performance Center, Babar Azam said that it was not easy to play cricket in the scorching heat, so the boys in the conditioning camp were working hard.
After the series against West Indies, the tour of Sri Lanka will be important.
As captain and team, everyone wants to continue their form in the new season with the same performance, enthusiasm and passion from the momentum that ended last season.
Babar Azam has clarified that my personal goal is to give such performances which will benefit the team, planning for performances in different conditions is important, I try to stay calm and go on the field.
If we get a chance to go and play in New Zealand before the World Cup, it will be of great benefit because the conditions there and the conditions in Australia are very similar. Will get, that’s how much we will benefit. We are all very confident and excited for the World Cup.
