Bad news for Karachi residents, electricity has been made more expensive

Bad news for the people of Karachi. Electricity has been increased by Rs7.80 per unit.

NEPRA has approved to increase the price of electricity for Karachi residents by Rs7.80 per unit. NEPRA has approved the increase in terms of two different quarterly adjustments.

In the July-September 2021 adjustment, it has been approved to increase the price of electricity by Rs. 6, 47 paise. NEPRA has approved to increase the price of electricity by Rs.

Electricity has also been approved to reduce the price of electricity by Rs. 41 paisa per unit for K Electric.

In the April-June 2021 adjustment, it was approved to reduce the price of electricity by 94 paise. In the adjustment from October to December 2021, it has been approved to reduce the price of electricity by 47 paise.
