Big decision by OGRA to curb black marketing of LPG

Important decisions have been taken by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) to stop the black marketing of LPG across the country.

A letter was written to the Chief Secretary and Chief Commissioner Islamabad of all provinces that according to the LPG Production and Distribution Rules 2001 issued by OGRA in the month of August against those selling LPG at a price exceeding Rs.2571 per domestic cylinder. Action under Section 29 Ogra Ordinance 2002 should be ensured with the help of local government.

On illegal profiteering, the provincial government was requested to take legal action against the illegal profiteering LPG plant and LPG distributors.
