The cholera epidemic in Dera Bugti district of Balochistan has gone out of control due to which 40 to 50 new cases are being reported daily while 4 people have died of cholera so far.

The situation has worsened after a cholera outbreak in Pirkoh area of ​​Dera Bugti.

According to the health department, four people have died so far from the cholera epidemic, while 1,450 people, including women and children, have been affected by the epidemic, with about 50 new cases being reported daily.

According to medical experts, the disease is caused by drinking polluted and dirty water. While there is no clean drinking water available in Pir Koh, the residents of Pir Koh are forced to drink dirty and polluted water in the ponds and storm drains.
