A meeting of the Cabinet Committee was held under the chairmanship of Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah in which the case of mutiny against PTI Chairman Imran Khan and Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan was considered.
According to sources, in the meeting, Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah requested the committee to register a case against Imran Khan.
Rana Sanaullah said that Imran Khan’s long march was an attack on the federation with armed groups, police officers and weapons were with Imran Khan, there is evidence of this.
According to sources, the meeting also considered a coup case against the Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister.
In the meeting, IG Islamabad Akbar Nasir briefed the members of the Cabinet Committee. The participants of the Cabinet Committee will meet again next week.
Sources said that according to the Interior Ministry, an armed attack on the federation on May 25 and disloyalty to the federation and the provinces, Imran Khan could be sentenced to life imprisonment and fine under section 124.
