Eid-ul-Adha is being celebrated with religious fervor across the country. In all three days after the Eid-ul-Adha prayers, animal sacrifices continue to be performed to perform the Sunnah of Abraham.
Eid prayer gatherings were held in all small and big cities, towns and villages of the country. After the prayers, special prayers were offered for the security, development and prosperity of the country.
Apart from this, prayers were also offered to Allah for the liberation of Palestine and Occupied Kashmir and for the end of the ongoing strife and corruption in the Muslim countries.
The NCOC has appealed to the public to wear masks during Eid-ul-Adha prayers and strictly adhere to Corona SOPs.
Due to the rain, water has accumulated in most of the Eid venues, grounds and parks. Due to non-drainage of this accumulated water, it is not possible to offer Eid prayers in them. Therefore, Eid prayer gatherings were held in most of the mosques.
After the Eid-ul-Adha prayers, animal sacrifices will continue in all three days to perform the Sunnah of Abraham. Citizens will perform individual and collective sacrifices in the way of Allah. The sacrificial meat will be distributed among the poor and needy.
