Prominent filmmaker of Pakistan’s film industry (Lollywood) Jamshed Zafar has passed away. The deceased had been ill for some time and was suffering from kidney disease.
Filmmaker Jamshed Zafar’s son has confirmed his father’s death on the social networking site Facebook. “My father has moved to a better place,” he wrote in a shared post.
Funeral prayers of renowned filmmaker Jamshed Zafar were offered at 10 pm in Garden Town Lahore in which a large number of locals besides relatives and friends attended.
It should be noted that the late Jamshed Zafar produced many well-known films, including Who Will Become a Crorepati, Dako and Dupatta Burning, among others.
The late Jamshed Zafar was also the Vice Chairman of the Film Producers Association.
