Former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been booked in Bihar’s Begusarai CJM Court.

According to media reports, a case was registered against eight persons, including former captain of the Indian team Mahendra Singh Dhoni, in the Begusarai CJM court in Bihar for bouncing a check of Rs 3 million.

A complaint has been lodged under section 138, which carries a maximum penalty of two years imprisonment or fine if convicted.

The former Indian captain promotes the product and is also the chairman of the company.
