The price of gold per ounce in the world market has increased by 21 dollars, while the price of gold per tola in Pakistan has decreased by 2100 rupees.
The price of gold rose by $21 per ounce in the international bullion market, after which the gold price in the global market reached $1787 per ounce.
However, on the contrary, the price of gold per tola and 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs 2,100 and Rs 1,800 respectively in the local bullion markets.
After the reduction in prices, the price of gold per tola decreased to the level of 1 lakh 43 thousand 200 in the gold exchange markets of Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Hyderabad and Quetta. Similarly, after the decrease in the price of ten grams of gold, it became 1 lakh 12 thousand 540 rupees.
On the other hand, the price of silver per tola in the local bullion markets was Rs 1620 while the price of ten grams of silver remained stable at Rs 1388.
