Government announces commission of inquiry against Imran Khan government

The government blamed the Imran Khan government for the energy crisis and announced the formation of a commission of inquiry into wrong decisions in the petroleum sector.

Federal Minister for Information Maryam Aurangzeb in a press conference along with Federal Ministers Ahsan Iqbal and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that Imran Khan used all the institutions to make false cases against the opponents which were later proved to be false. The cases are based on baseless allegations.

The Information Minister said that the National Crime Agency also declared Imran Khan’s cases as false. The East Recovery Unit was in fact Imran Khan’s East Making Unit. Imran Khan withdrew his appeal against the bail of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in the Supreme Court. This means that a false case was made against the Prime Minister.

He said that Article 6 seems to be inviting neutrals to intervene. From the National Assembly to the Punjab Assembly, Imran Khan violated the Constitution. The media reported on the basis of misinterpretation of the decision of the Lahore High Court. According to the decision of the Lahore High Court, Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz was not removed from office.

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that billions of rupees were lost to the country due to wrong decisions of Imran Khan and his cabinet. A commission will be formed to investigate wrong decisions of Imran government in petroleum sector. Will be placed in front of the truth.

On this occasion, Ahsan Iqbal said that the energy crisis was identified in November-December 2021, people and industries are being affected by load shedding, are constantly working to revive the country’s economy, said Imran Dur. Will bring steps to bankrupt the country.
