Hamza Shehbaz filed a petition to form a full court in the Supreme Court

Hamza Shehbaz filed a petition in the Supreme Court to form a full court on the case against the ruling of Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly. It has been requested in the petition that the petitions for revision of Article 63A should also be fixed for hearing along with the case.

The appeals of the defiant members against the Election Commission were also requested to be heard along with the rolling case. It has been stated in the petition that the appeals against the Election Commission decision of the defected members are pending.

According to the text of the petition, the ruling given by Deputy Speaker Dost Mohammad Mazari on July 22 is correct. The Election Commission accepted the instructions issued by Imran Khan against the defecting members. If it happens, the situation will change completely. If the Supreme Court approves the appeals, the votes cast by the 25 dissenting members will also be counted.

The position has been taken that the Election Commission has declared Imran Khan’s letter of instructions against defecting members as valid. Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain’s letter to his MPs is also valid according to the constitution and law.

Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz Sharif also submitted his reply in the Supreme Court. Hamza Shehbaz has requested in response that Parvaiz Elahi’s application be dismissed.
