Imam Raza Athletics Championship Pakistan won five medals including two

In the Imam Raza Athletics Championship, Pakistan won five medals including two golds and secured the third position in the two-day competition held in Mashhad.

In the javelin throw, Muhammad Yasir won the gold medal of 74.83 meters. Shajar Abbas took first place in the 200m race with a new national record by covering the distance in 29.91 seconds.

Shahrooz Khan won silver medal in high jump. Abdul Moeed won silver in 400m race and bronze medal in 200m.

Team coaches were Rana Tanveer Hussain and Sajjad Ahmad Khan. President Pakistan Athletics Federation Akram Sahi appreciated the performance of the team and congratulated the athletes and coaches.

The athletics team will arrive at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday, where they will receive a warm welcome.
