Imran Khan gets relief, interim bail granted

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been granted bail. A local court in Islamabad has granted interim bail to Imran Khan till July 6 in 15 cases related to vandalism during the long march.

The court ordered the former prime minister to submit a bond of Rs 5,000.

Sessions Judge Kamran Basharat Mufti and Abdul Ghafoor Kakar heard the cases of vandalism separately during the long march. Former Prime Minister Imran Khan appeared before the court along with his lawyer Babar Awan and party leaders. Strict security arrangements were made in the private court on this occasion. The court granted interim bail to Imran Khan till July 6 and summoned the police till July 6 with the record.

A total of 15 cases were registered against Imran Khan in 11 police stations. Imran Khan will be granted interim bail in a total of 15 cases. 10 cases were registered in District and Sessions Court West, 5 cases were registered in District and Sessions Court East.
