Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Justice Athar Minallah heard the case related to missing persons. During the hearing, Justice Athar Minallah remarked that the fact is that no one is doing anything, how many citizens are missing at the moment?
To this, the Deputy Attorney General replied that according to the report, 600 out of 8400 people are still missing, many people are playing a double role in this case, here and there. Expressing anger over the response of the Deputy Attorney General, the court asked the Deputy Attorney General what is the point of recruiting so many policemen, what is their job then?
Meanwhile, Farhatullah Babar told the court that so many people were picked up, it is not yet known who picked them up.
Later, Chief Justice Athar Minallah, while ordering the recovery of the missing persons, said that if the court order was not complied with, the Prime Minister should appear before the court.
The court adjourned further hearing of the case till September 9.
