Khyber Pakhtunkhwa fails to evict large numbers of workers

Local leadership in five districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa failed to evacuate large numbers of workers to participate in the long march.

According to sources, 13,000 to 14,000 workers from Peshawar, Khyber and Mohmand districts went to participate in the long march.

Hundreds of workers also returned from various locations due to the long wait in the heat, while the number of workers in the long march was less than expected due to fear of government crackdown, not choosing the right day and obstacles.

According to sources, about 1,500 vehicles from the three districts passed through the motorway toll plaza, while 2,000 workers in about 100 vehicles from Kohat and Hangu participated in the long march.

On the other hand, Special Assistant for Information Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif while talking to Geo News said that the long march was successful but due to government crackdown and violence a large number of people did not participate in the march.
