Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central leader Dr Yasmeen Rashid has said that we are a free nation and not a slave to anyone.

Dr. Yasmeen Rashid while talking to the media outside the Sessions Court said that on May 25, the police smashed the windows of my car with sticks. I have never seen such policing till today. I wanted to talk but they rained down sticks. When the FIR was deducted, the SHO said that there was an order from above and they could not register an FIR.

The former provincial minister said that the barbarism and bullying committed by the police on May 25 was witnessed by all the media persons. We, three unarmed women, were going to Islamabad. There is a government, look at my age, provisions of terrorism have been registered against me, Rana Sanaullah would not have committed such acts if he had been convicted in the Model Town tragedy case.

He said that 3 of our workers were martyred, we will hold each and every one of our workers accountable, these people thought that PTI is Mummy Daddy Party but our workers proved that PTI is not Mummy Daddy Party.

The PTI leader said that we are proud people who love Pakistan, we are not subjugated or slaves of anyone but we have come out for the integrity of Pakistan.

“We are a free nation and we will continue to struggle, even if it means losing our lives,” he added.
