The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) carried out an emergency operation at sea and rescued the Iranian fishermen and their boat and shifted them to Karachi.
According to the spokesman of the Maritime Security Agency, on July 15, the Maritime Rescue Coordination Center received an emergency call from the Iranian fishing boat “Al Osmani”.
There were 6 fishermen in the boat and the boat was facing an emergency due to engine failure and flooding in the sea.
According to the spokesman, the PMSA ship Busol participated in the rescue operation, providing first aid and food after rescuing the Iranian boat and its crew.
Apart from this, the damaged boat of Iranian fishermen along with the crew was safely brought to Karachi port.
