Pakistani exports to America have increased: Masood Khan

Masood Khan, Pakistan’s ambassador to the US, says that Pakistani exports to the US have increased.

Masood Khan said that Pakistani exports have increased by 35% annually, last year Pakistani exports to America were 7 billion dollars, which have increased to 9 billion dollars. He said that in Pakistan’s exports of 9 billion dollars, goods trade was 6.8 billion dollars while services including IT exports were 2.2 billion dollars.

The Pakistani ambassador said that imports from the US in 2021-22 were 3 billion, which was 2.4 billion dollars last year, thus the total trade volume between Pakistan and the United States has increased to 12 billion dollars, which was about 9 and a half billion dollars last year. .

Masood Khan said that if the annual increase of 35% in exports continues, the trade volume between Pakistan and America will reach 20 billion dollars in the next three years. Funding was provided by American venture capital companies.
