Pakistani female mountaineer continues to advance on K2

Two female mountaineers from Pakistan, Naila Kayani and Samina Baig, are on their way to summit the world’s second highest peak ‘K-To’.

Samina Baig has reached Camp Three while Naila Kayani has come a few meters from Camp Two. Both are determined to become the first Pakistani woman climber to scale the mountain.

On the other hand, 16-year-old Aisha Sajid has also reached Camp One to join Broad Pack. Naila Kayani has reached Camp Two on Ketu where she will leave for Camp Three after resting on Tuesday evening.

Samina Baig is currently at Camp Three, further progress is subject to weather.

Naila Kayani messaged Jio that at present the team members are staying a little above Camp Two and below Lower Camp Three.

Naila said that if she reaches the top first or Samina, the honor will be in the name of the Pakistani woman.

On the other hand, 16-year-old mountaineer Aisha Sajid is also advancing on Broad Peak, she is currently at Camp One. If successful, Aisha will become the youngest climber to summit Broad Peak.

Aisha will summit Broad Peak under the supervision of renowned mountaineer Sajid Ali Sadpara.

On the other hand, Russian mountaineer Denis Arubko has achieved a unique feat. Experienced Denis Arobeco summited Broad Peak in 14 hours and 40 minutes, Denis Arobeco has already climbed all 14 peaks above eight thousand meters

Denis left the base camp yesterday and completed the summit at 11 am on Tuesday.
