Petrol will be Rs 310 next month, Omar Ayub warned

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Omar Ayub has expressed concern that next month petrol will get Rs 310 and electricity Rs 40 per unit.

Addressing a press conference, he said that with the increase in petrol price, where will the farmer who will drive the tractor go? This will further increase inflation in the country.

“People will throw stones at them. It looks like the imported government is going to commit suicide next month,” he said.

He said that due to increase in petrol prices people have stopped motorcycles, they are going to drown the fleet of business people. He said that according to OGRA, the bills of gas consumers are going to increase by 400%. Whose bill will be Rs. 1350 per month and his bill will be Rs. 3400.

Earlier in the day, Federal Minister for Finance Shaukat Tareen said that there was a growth rate of 4.4 per cent in agriculture.

He said that read the economic survey, the budget deficit is 2.4 billion rupees, the numbers never lie, we will make fun of them, our growth is 6% and they are talking about 5% growth.

Shaukat Tareen said that we employed the most 5-5 million people, we collected the highest revenue in history, I ask the government who is being fooled.

He said that he has increased the tax rate of banks, inflation is currently at 4-13%, Muftah Ismail has hinted to increase the prices of electricity and gas from tomorrow, inflation will go up to 25-30%.
