Players’ compensation likely to increase by up to 30% for next season

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Board of Governors meeting is likely to be held in Lahore next week.

According to sources, the meeting will approve the central contract for the next season in which the players’ compensation is likely to increase by up to 30%.

Sources said that separate categories of Central Contract for White Ball and Red Ball cricketers are likely to be introduced.

According to sources, the chairman PCB is taking interest in the names and compensation of the players for the central contract.

Sources said that the meeting will also approve the PCB’s budget for the next financial year and the participants will be given an update on the first edition of the Pakistan Junior League.

In addition, information about possible events of the International Cricket Council in Pakistan is also part of the agenda.
