Polling continues for local body elections in Balochistan

Polling for local body elections has started in 32 districts of Balochistan. Voting will start from 8 am in 32 districts. Polling materials are being distributed from the offices of returning officers and all security arrangements have been completed.

According to the Election Commission, local body elections have been held in 32 districts of Balochistan today for which the polling process has started. Regarding the local body elections in the province, the Election Commission of Balochistan said that the distribution of polling materials has been completed. Voting will start from 8 am in 32 districts. Polling materials are being distributed from the offices of returning officers. Arrangements have been completed.

The ECP said that most of the polling stations in the 32 districts of the first phase are in remote and sensitive areas, 5226 polling stations have been set up in 32 districts and there are 16195 candidates in these districts, including 132 women. The total number of voters in 32 districts is more than 3.5 million.
