Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that the Election Commission should know that the eyes of the entire nation are on the by-elections to be held in 20 constituencies of Punjab. These elections will decide whether the people have confidence in the Election Commission or not.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan reached Lahore in connection with the campaign of party candidates in the by-elections for 20 seats in Punjab where he addressed the Workers Convention in PP-158.
In the by-election of PP-158, PTI has nominated Akram Usman as its candidate. Addressing the Workers Convention at Hali Road, Gulberg, Imran Khan said, “I tell the Election Commission that the whole country is watching the by-elections. These 20 elections will decide whether the people can trust the Election Commission or not.”
He directed the youth that you have to take charge of every polling station, go door to door and prepare the people to vote because this is not a constituency but an election for the whole of Pakistan, you have to wake up the nation and make them realize that they Don’t vote for thieves.
Imran Khan further said that I am the only captain who won in India even though he was the umpire because I had Allah and my team with me, I will still win this match together with the people inshallah.
After addressing the Workers Convention, Imran Khan’s plan changed abruptly and he reached his residence in Zaman Park instead of Wapda Town where he was briefed by party leaders on preparations for by-elections.
