Rashid Latifs announcement to enter politics

Former national Test cricket captain and former wicketkeeper Rashid Latif has announced his intention to enter politics.

Former national cricket team wicketkeeper Rashid Latif, in an interview announcing his entry into politics, said: Let me step into politics in practice.

He said that he has no intention of forming his own political party but everyone is aware of my political views and affiliation.

The former cricketer represented Pakistan in 37 Tests and 166 One-Day Internationals for Pakistan from 1992 to 2005, most recently as the Director of Cricket in the Kashmir Premier League.

Asked about his affiliation with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the former Test wicketkeeper said that he would definitely take a decision after making a good offer in this regard.
