Naila Kayani has started her journey to become the first Pakistani woman to head K2.
Naila Kayani has reached Camp One of the second highest peak in the world, sources say that if the weather is good, she will be able to summit the summit by July 22. Naila Kayani is also the first Pakistani woman mountaineer to scale the world’s 13th highest peak, Gashar Burm II.
The height of Tou, the second highest peak in the world, is 8,611 meters. It was first climbed on July 31, 1954 by two Italian mountaineers, Lissadelli and Campanoni.
Also called Mount Godon Austin and Chogo Re (บุที่วิว้ว้ว้), K-To or Godon Austin Peak is the highest peak of the Karakoram mountain range located in Gilgit-Baltistan near the border of Pakistan and China.
