Senate session: Members of the Assembly walk out of the House

During the Senate session, members of the Assembly walked out of the House on the issue of water in Balochistan.

The Senate session began under the chairmanship of Speaker Sadiq Sanjarani. The issue of water in Balochistan was raised by Senator Dinesh Kumar after which Tahir Bizenjo along with members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) also walked out of the House.

Chairman Senate sought report from IRSA on water issue in Balochistan.

Senator Mohsin Aziz said that economically people are being killed in different ways and the government is still not satisfied. Corona has started again but why is this being hidden?

“The NCOC has been deactivated and we have been receiving phone calls from many people saying that we have become corona,” he said. There is no news against Corona and inflation. Wear masks in houses and committees.

Expressing his views, Senator Raza Rabbani said that the budget was being discussed in the House but not a single minister was present. The Minister of Finance and the Minister of State should have been here. Chairman Senate, make sure the ministers are here.

Yousuf Raza Gilani said that the ministers had come to the meeting yesterday and people from the finance ministry were sitting here taking notes. Ministers will attend the meeting.

Leader of the Opposition Senator Shehzad Waseem while expressing anger over the absence of Ministers in the House said that it is a shame that there is no Minister in the House. Where is the 50 member cabinet? I request the petition of the missing ministers and the people in the adjoining house also speak aloud.

The government bench expressed displeasure over the use of the word “alo” by Senator Shehzad Wasim and the use of the word “alo” by Senator Maulabakhsh Chandio lashed out at the Leader of the Opposition, Shehzad Wasim.
