Sri Lankan team piled up for 222 runs in the first innings

In the first Test match played in Galle, the entire Sri Lankan team was bowled out for 222 runs in the first innings.

Dinesh Chandimal scored 76 runs for Sri Lanka, skipper Dimuth Karunaratne got one run and Angelo Mathews got out for zero. On behalf of Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi dismissed 4 players while Hasan Ali and Yasir Shah took two wickets each.

Apart from this, Naseem Shah and Mohammad Nawaz also managed to get one wicket each.

The first match of the two-Test series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka started this morning at 9:30 am Pakistan time. Pakistan’s final eleven for the Galle Test against Sri Lanka was announced yesterday.

Captain Babar Azam and vice-captain Muhammad Rizwan along with Imam-ul-Haq, Abdullah Shafiq, Azhar Ali, Salman Agha are part of the playing XI.

Apart from this, Mohammad Nawaz, Yasir Shah, Hasan Ali, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah are also included in the team. On the other hand, Sri Lanka’s playing XI includes captain Dimath Karuna Ratne and Ushada Fernando, along with Kaushal Mendes, Angelo Mathews, Dhananjaya De Silva and Dinesh Chandimal.

The Sri Lankan team also includes Nirushan Dakwila, Ramesh Mendis, Mahesh Thakshana, Prabhath Jayasuriya and Kasan Rajitha.
