A medical board has been constituted for the postmortem of Dr. Amir Liaqat. The grave will be exhumed on June 23. Aamir Liaquat’s ex-wife Bushra has decided to file an appeal against the court’s decision.
A six-member medical board has been formed for the postmortem of Amir Liaquat Hussain. The exhumation will take place on June 23 at 9:30 am at the mausoleum of Abdullah Shah Ghazi.
The Medical Board is headed by Police Surgeon Dr. Samia Syed. Additional Police Surgeon Shahid Nizam, HOD Forensic Medicine Jinnah Pervaiz Makhdoom are also in the team. Forensic Expert Dr. Hari Ram, Dr. Gulzar Ali Solangi and MLO Dr. Areeb Baqai is also part of the team.
On the other hand, Amir Liaquat’s ex-wife Bashari reached the court. According to lawyers, they obtained a certified copy of the Judicial Magistrate’s decision regarding the exhumation and postmortem.
Waqala says that an appeal will be filed against the court decision by Amir Liaquat’s ex-wife.
It is to be noted that the court of Judicial Magistrate had ordered to conduct autopsy of well known TV personality and Member National Assembly Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain.
According to the written order of the court, the heirs are of the view that the post-mortem of Amir Liaquat will desecrate his grave.
The verdict states that behind-the-scenes facts should come to light. It is clear that the cause of death of Amir Liaquat has not been ascertained yet and not knowing the cause of death of Amir Liaquat raises questions whether death is natural or not.
It may be recalled that Amir Liaquat, who was suddenly found dead in his house on June 9, was buried in the premises of Abdullah Shah Ghazi’s mausoleum in Karachi.
