The first person to drink water in two decades

Andy Curry, 41, from the UK, drank water for the first time in two decades, 20 years later.

Andy works in a supermarket who has been addicted to soft drinks for the past 20 years and used to drink 10 liters of cold drink daily.

However, he now claims that he has got rid of this habit with the help of only one hypnotherapy session (psychiatric treatment).

According to Andy Curry, he drank up to 30 cans of soft drinks a day at a cost of 20 pounds a day and about 7,000 to 8,000 pounds (over Rs. 1.9 million) a year.

In an interview, Andy said that he became addicted to soft drinks when he was 20 years old. They used four to five two-liter bottles a day.

When his weight began to rise alarmingly, doctors feared he might have diabetes, after which Andy decided to seek treatment.

Andy contacted a local therapist and hypnotist who diagnosed him with Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, but he managed to break the curry habit with just one 40-minute session.

After this session, Currie drank water for the first time in 20 years and lost 7 kg in one month.
