The federal cabinet has approved a summary of the finance ministry’s کو 2.4 billion loan to China from Pakistan.
The federal cabinet approved the acquisition of the loan through a summary circulation, stating that the loan from China would be for three years.
The کا 2.4 billion loan will be available at one percent margin. The loan will be available under the 2019 agreement.
On the other hand, the Prime Minister has also called for an emergency plan to reduce load shedding within 24 hours.
Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb said that the Prime Minister has directed the Committee of Ministers of Energy, Petroleum and Finance to submit a workable plan.
He said that the plan for gradual reduction in load shedding would be implemented effectively.
Maryam Aurangzeb said that a five-hour long meeting chaired by the Prime Minister took stock of the situation. The Prime Minister was briefed in detail on the overall energy situation in the country.
He said that the Prime Minister has directed the concerned ministers to bring balance in power supply to industry and domestic consumers. The Prime Minister directed that a plan be drawn up so that the people themselves would feel the reduction in load shedding.
