The Punjab government has proposed to keep the budget for the financial year 2022-23 at Rs. 3226 billion. The budget budget will be tax free. Revenue is estimated at Rs. 2521 billion, of which Rs. 2020 billion is expected to come from federal revenue and provincial revenue is estimated at Rs. 500 billion. Non-tax revenue is estimated to increase by 24% to Rs 163 billion, excise revenue collection targets increased by 2% to Rs 43 billion, Board of Revenue revenue increased by 44% to Rs 96 billion, Punjab Revenue Authority target 190 billion with an increase of 22%.
