A ring from a woman in Alabama fell into a lake and disappeared, and now, 53 years later, the ring has been found again.
Dina Scott Lufflin says she was swimming in the famous Lake Beresa in California in 1969 when she slipped her finger into the depths of the lake and could not be found.
The ring bore Dina’s name and her college mark. One week ago, a family called Dina’s son and said they had found a ring in the lake while fishing. Dina was 2,000 miles away at the time and she reached the lake and recognized her ring.
Dina is delighted with this strange coincidence, and even her husband is surprised to find his wife’s commemorative ring again after more than half a century.
