Big news for cricket fans. Traditional rivals Pakistan and India will face each other in the Asia Cup next month.

According to Indian media agencies, long-time rivals Pakistan and India will face each other in the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka next month.

According to foreign media reports, the Asia Cup will be held in Sri Lanka as per the schedule and the event will be played from August 27 to September 11.

The qualifying round of the Asia Cup will start on August 21, while traditional rivals Pakistan and India will play on August 28.

Earlier, India had lost to Pakistan by 10 wickets in the T20 World Cup 2021.

Under the captaincy of Babar Azam, the Pakistani team defeated India in the World Cup for the first time and claimed a historic victory.

Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh are in the main round of the Asia Cup, while teams from the United Arab Emirates, Nepal, Oman and Hong Kong will play in the qualifying round.

It should be noted that the Asia Cup to be held in Sri Lanka will be played in T20 format.
