Traffic of trains affected due to heavy rains in the country

The recent heavy rains have affected train traffic in the country, due to which trains started getting delayed by 12 to 13 hours.

According to media reports, due to recent rains across the country, train operations are being affected due to track damage on Karachi, Quetta and Peshawar sections due to which the railways have to bear financial loss of lakhs of rupees.

Today, the railway administration has canceled both the up and down Karakoram train from Karachi and Lahore, on which the passengers have refunded the tickets, the railway has to bear a financial loss of lakhs of rupees.

Apart from this, the trains which are delayed by hours are Mulat Express 13 hours, Pak Business Express 11 hours, Khyber Mail Express 9 hours, Pakistan Express 8 hours, Rehman Baba Express 8 hours, Sir Syed Express 7 hours, Allama Iqbal Express 6 hours. Karachi Express 6 hours, Shah Hussain Express 6 hours, Green Line Express 6 hours, Jafar Express 4 hours, Awam Express 4 hours, Tezgam Express 5 hours and Farid Express 3 hours delayed.
