Unconfirmed unofficial results of local body elections continue to arrive in Balochistan. In Kalat, the Pakistan People’s Party took the field.

According to unconfirmed, unofficial results, PPP candidates won 9 out of 18 wards of the Municipal Committee. The joint candidate of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islami and BNP won in seven wards.

PTI candidate Ahmad Dan from Ward No. 1 of Kohlu’s Union Council 5 won, independent candidate Mir Zark Khan from Ward No. 2 and PTI’s Ghulam Mustafa from Ward No. 3 won with 94 votes. According to unconfirmed unofficial results, Ali Mohammad, an independent candidate from Ward 04, was declared the winner with 100 votes.

Zubair Ahmed of PTI from Ward 5 and Bahawal Khan of PTI from Ward No. 6 were declared successful. Mir Nisar Ahmed Independent candidate from Ward No. 7 was elected unopposed. In Dera Murad Jamali, Balochistan Awami Party took the field. According to unconfirmed unofficial results, the Balochistan Awami Party won 33 of the 44 seats on the Municipal Committee.

Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party won three seats from six wards of Union Council Chah Shahrag of Harnai. Pashtunkhwa MP candidate from ward number one was declared successful with 190 votes.

Muhammad Idrees of Pashtunkhwa Map from Ward No. 2 won with 212 votes. JUI, ANP and BAP managed to win one seat each.

Unconfirmed unofficial results of seven wards of Bolan Municipal Committee Bhag also came to light. Independent candidate from Babu Ward Mufti Kifayatullah won with 217 votes. Muhammad Usman of PPP won from Haider Shah ward with 550 votes. According to unofficial results, Ramesh Kumar of PPP and Mufti panel from Bazar ward won with 355 votes.

Haji Hafeezullah from Pir Sabir Shah ward won with 430 votes, Mufti panel from Pir Bukhari ward and PPP nominee Nisar Ahmed and Arbab Qadir Bakhsh from Arbab ward won with 710 votes.

Independent candidates took the field in Sibi. According to unconfirmed, unofficial results, independent candidates won in 18 of the 25 wards of the Municipal Committee. The Nawaz League won two seats while the PTI, Jamaat-e-Islami and TLP won one seat each. Results of 54 wards of District Union Councils are yet to come.
