Uncontrolled inflation, inflation reached an all-time high

Inflation has become uncontrollable. Inflation in the country reached a record high of 32%.

The Federal Bureau of Statistics (FBS) has released weekly inflation figures. The inflation rate reached a record high of 32.01 per cent.

According to the statistics agency, 28 items including electricity, gas, eggs, milk, pulses, tomatoes and onions became more expensive this week. Meanwhile, 6 items fell and 17 remained stable.

According to the details, electricity became costlier by 27.89 per cent and LPG by 1.15 per cent.

According to the statistics, eggs became 2.56 per cent, dal mash 2.30, dal gram 2.17 and dal mung 1.83 per cent. Milk became costlier by 1.81%, potatoes by 1.67% and double bread by 1.59%. Chicken became cheaper by 6.81%, bananas by 0.78% and ghee by 0.44%.

According to the statistics agency, diesel became 129 per cent more expensive and petrol 106 per cent more expensive in a year. Onion became 113 per cent, ghee 85 per cent and edible oil 79 per cent more expensive.
