We did not interfere in the work of any institution, we stood behind the institutions: Chief Justice

Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Atta Bandyal has said that we did not interfere in the work of any institution but we stood on the back of the institutions as a result of our action a transparent and impartial election was held.

Under the chairmanship of Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Atta Bandial, the case of cancellation of admission of Khyber University student was heard.

During the hearing, the Chief Justice made important remarks in which he said that we will not do the work of the institutions, but let them do their work, we did the same in the recent elections of Punjab.

Justice Umar Atta Bandial said that we did not interfere in the work of any institution but we stood behind the institutions, as a result of our action transparent and impartial election was held.

It should be remembered that the Supreme Court had given a verdict on Pervez Elahi’s petition against the ruling of the Deputy Speaker in the election of the Chief Minister of Punjab, in which the court declared the election of former Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz as wrong and ordered him to leave the post and made Pervez Elahi the Chief Minister. Punjab was declared.

The court also invalidated all the decisions made by Hamza Shehbaz other than public interest.

As a result of the court decision, Hamza Shehbaz had to lose his post and the Chief Ministership of Punjab went to Parvez Elahi.
