Which peak has Shahrooz Kashif gone to now?

Trapped on his way back from Nanga Parbat, the youngest climber in the world, Shahrooz Kashif has once again taken a leave of absence.

Before leaving for Gilgit-Baltistan, Shahrooz Kashif released a video on a social networking site saying that his next destination is the peak of Gashir Baram near the Pak-China border, which is 8,035 meters (26,360) feet high.

Earlier in the day, Shahrooz Kashif and his companion Fazal Ali were stranded on their way back from Nanga Parbat due to bad weather. After spending the night in the snow, they reached a little further down in the morning from where the army rescue team rescued them Delivered safely to Gilgit.

After celebrating Eid with his family, Shahrooz is now going to hoist the national flag on another 8,000 meter high peak in the world. He has conquered 8 highest peaks so far.

It should be noted that Gashir Baram is the 13th highest mountain in the world and the fifth highest in Pakistan which is located in the Karakoram range. The peak was topped in 1956 by Moravik, Larch and Whelan Part of an Austrian team.
