The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced an 18-member national Test squad for the tour of Sri Lanka in which Yasir Shah and Salman Ali Agha have returned.
Pakistan has announced the squad for next month’s two-Test series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
The most important thing in the squad is the return of Yasir Shah to the national team who could not represent Pakistan for a long time due to injury. The league spinner was included in the reserve players in the matches against Australia but he did not get a chance to play in the match.
Muhammad Nawaz, who was dropped from the Test squad against Australia due to injury, also managed to make a place in the national Test squad again while Salman Ali has also returned to the squad.
The chief selectors announced the squad to include three spinners, four middle-order batsmen, three all-rounders, two wicket-keepers, two spinners and four fast bowlers.

The squad includes captain Babar Azam, vice captain Muhammad Rizwan, Abdullah Shafiq, Azhar Ali, Fawad Alam, Sarfraz Ahmed, Salman Ali Aghaz, Saud Shakeel, Shaun Masood, Haris Rauf, Hassan Ali, Imamul Haq, Muhammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah and Fahim Ashraf. , Noman Ali, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Yasir Shah are also in the squad.
Zahid Mahmood and Sajid Khan, who were part of the series against Australia, have been dropped from the squad.
Two matches of the ICC World Test Championship between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played in Galle and Colombo. The first Test of the series will be played in Galle from July 16 to 20 and the second in Colombo from July 24 to 28.
