The film was written by Nasir Adeeb & Bilal Lashari and directed by Bilal Lashari. It is a remake of the classi Maula Jatt movie (1979) featuring Fawad Afzal Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi. The movie is based on the characters by Nasir Adeeb.
